What does UK MPG mean?
UK MPG uses an imperial gallon. One imperial gallon equals approximately 4.54609 litres.
How is fuel cost calculated?
The calculator converts the journey to miles, estimates gallons from UK MPG, converts gallons to litres and multiplies litres by the fuel price.
Can I enter kilometres?
Yes. Select Kilometres and the calculator converts the distance to miles for the UK MPG calculation.
Does it include insurance, tax and servicing?
No. The main calculator estimates fuel cost only. Insurance, road tax, servicing, depreciation and parking are not included.
